Always reliable, great gifts

This isn't my first time buying from Littlebean's Toy Chest. I've ordered quiet books and a multicultural doll before, and this time I got a preschool busy book. They're always consistent with the quality of their handmade items. The stitching is neat, and the designs are engaging. I like that they keep adding new activity pages. Shipping is usually pretty standard, and their customer service is responsive if you have questions. It's my go-to for unique, educational gifts for the little ones in my life because I know what to expect.

Fantastic sensory book!

I just received the 'unplugged educational play kit' and it's amazing! The quality of the felt is so soft and the activities are really clever. My little one was immediately drawn to it. I will absolutely shop here again for future gifts. So happy with this purchase!

Good value, cute book

I was looking for a sensory book for my toddler and found Littlebean's. I got the personalized quiet book. The price was fair, especially with the first order code I found. It felt worth it for a handmade item, and my kid loves the activities. Definitely a good buy.

Solid quality, good communication

I ordered a personalized quiet book for my nephew a few weeks ago. The ordering process was straightforward on their site. It took about 10 days for them to ship it out, which was within the timeframe they stated for personalized items. Delivery to Ohio took another 4 days. The book itself is well-made; the felt pieces are securely attached, and the colors are vibrant. I had a question about the washing instructions and used their contact form, and customer service got back to me within 24 hours. Overall, a smooth experience and a good quality product that seems durable for toddler play.

Trying to compare Littlebeans with something like KiwiCo or Lovevery. Is it worth the price difference for the personalized stuff?

R Ryan Q. 1 month ago
It's a different vibe, honestly. KiwiCo is more like project kits, and Lovevery is subscription boxes. Littlebeans is unique because it's truly handmade and you can personalize it. If you want something super specific and special, it's worth it.

Totally different. Littlebeans is like, heirloom quality personalized stuff. My kid still uses hers from years ago. Lovevery is great, but it's more 'structured play' vs. the open-ended, tactile experience here.

Does anyone know if these guys ever have bigger sales, like for holidays? Thinking of waiting if a Black Friday deal is coming up.

G Gwen Reyes 1 month ago
Oh yeah, definitely! They usually do some pretty good sales for Black Friday and Christmas. I got a big discount last year around then.

For sure, holiday sales are a thing. Black Friday / Cyber Monday is usually when they drop some decent percentages, like 20% off I think. Worth waiting if you're not in a rush.

I have a coupon code from signing up for the newsletter, but I also saw an automatic discount applied to a bundle in my cart. Can I use both?

L Lisa Brooks 1 month ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one discount at a time. Most places are like that. It'll probably apply the best one automatically.

I tried that once, didn't work. They usually only let you stack a single promo code. Choose whichever gives you the biggest saving!

Are these felt books actually washable? My toddler is a messy eater and I can just see it covered in jam.

D David Walsh 1 month ago
I've spot cleaned mine with a damp cloth and mild soap, worked fine. Wouldn't throw it in the washing machine though, that's probably a no-go.

They're mostly felt, so I wouldn't dunk it. Gentle hand wash and air dry if you really need to, but spot cleaning is probably best for most messes.

Are these toys really safe for a one-year-old? Like, no small parts they can choke on?

C Chris 2 weeks ago
My little one (18 months) plays with hers all the time, and it's pretty secure. Everything is stitched down well. Always supervise though, just in case.

They're designed for toddlers, so big chunky pieces and everything well-attached. Materials are non-toxic too, which is a big plus for little ones who put everything in their mouths.

Hey, thinking of getting one of these quiet books for my niece. How long does it usually take for them to make and ship a personalized one to, say, California?

S Sophie Silva 1 month ago
Mine took about two weeks from ordering to my doorstep in LA, maybe a little less. They gotta personalize it, so it's not Amazon fast.

T Troy Q. 1 month ago
Yeah, I'd plan for at least a week or two for production plus shipping. It's handmade, so it's not instant, but worth the wait.

I need to get a personalized book for a birthday coming up really soon, like in 5 days. Is there any way to rush an order?

J Jared Brooks 1 month ago
They do offer rush orders, I think. You'd have to contact them directly though, it's not a standard option at checkout.

A Andre Reyes 1 month ago
I remember seeing something about rush orders in their FAQs, but it usually means contacting them before placing the order to see if they can accommodate it. And probably costs extra.

I'm looking for a gift for a baby shower. Are these things good for really young babies, or more for toddlers?

W Wendy 1 month ago
They have stuff for different ages. My 6-month-old loves the sensory book, but the quiet books with more intricate activities are definitely better for toddlers, 1-3 years old maybe.

C Carly C. 1 month ago
Some of the simpler sensory books are great for babies, but the personalized quiet books usually hit their stride around 18 months or so, when they can actually interact with the pages.
